Time managment

To insure that we do not waste time filming at location I have checked that the weather for the up coming weekend I have also prepared our order of shots list so that we can start filming when we arrive opposed to setting up the shot first. On our first trip filming we could have been more effective with our use of time.

Changes

We Will change:

- Actors
- Props
- Location

We are adding to our cast, we now need to add one more character to play Lewis's wife who is seen on the train before it explodes. We will also need to add a gun which i will get shot with, we will now not use the paper with information on it. We are again adding to location we will now shoot a scene with Lewis's wife on a train.

Film Age Ratings

As we are aiming for our film to be a 12, I have found the criteria relevant to our opening 2 minutes that we will have to comply with:

Discrimination
Discriminatory language or behaviour must not be
endorsed by the work as a whole. Aggressive
discriminatory language or behaviour is unlikely
to be acceptable unless clearly condemned.

Violence
Moderate violence is allowed but should not dwell on
detail. There should be no emphasis on injuries or blood,
but occasional gory moments may be permitted if
justified by the context.
Sexual violence may only be implied or briefly and
discreetly indicated, and must have a strong contextual
justification.

Theme
Mature themes are acceptable, but their treatment must
be suitable for young teenagers.

Language
Moderate language is allowed. The use of strong
language (for example, ‘fuck’) must be infrequent.

Possible script

Due to the adjustment to our idea we have needed to change the script in order to help the audience understand the storyline

Simon: Well done, you got me

Lewis: Pfffft

Simon: How's the wife?
(Circling each other whilst speaking)

Simon: I believe she is on a train to London

Simon: Am I right?
(Lewis raises gun to Simon)

Simon: What would you say if it, i dunno blew up?

Simon: 9 minutes and counting

Simon: Time is ticking (Ticking Starts) Say goodbye

Lewis: Goodbye
(Shoots Simon and starts to run)

Questionnaire Results

Our Questionnaire results informed us that,

75% of males answered our questionnaire, they answered Question 3 the more positively than the 25% of women therefore we are aiming the film more towards males than females. Also question 6 asks What is your favorite action film? the audience answered that films like James Bond and The Bourne Trilogy therefore we will take inspiration from these. We also found out that a 12 rated film would be best for the audience.

Developing our Idea

We have decided to make some changes to our opening 2 minutes. We are doing this because after a day of filming and checking over the footage, we feel that the story line wasn't getting across to the audience. Therefore we have scraped from the lake onwards

By doing this we hope to:

- Create a clear story line
- Add to the realism
- Fill up all of the 2 minutes

Animatic

This is our animatic storyboard

We chose to create a animated story board so that we could find out roughly how many shots we would need to fill the 2 Min's, this will help us with our time management. We also did this so that when we arrived at our film set we will be a ble to start filming immediatel.
